My name is Yahaira Cohinta Vannucchi and I am the owner of the Vannucchi Art Studio.
My Story
My name is Yahaira Vannucchi, and this is my story. From a young age, my journey has been one of blending personal passion with professional ambition, shaped by my love for painting and the experiences that have defined my life.
Early Life
I was born in the vibrant city of Guadalajara, Mexico, to my loving parents – my mother, a dedicated nurse, and my father, a skilled engineer. My parents married young; my mother was just 18, and my father was 20 when they welcomed their first child, my brother Alex. I came into the world two years later.
Sibling Bond
Growing up, Alex and I were inseparable, often mistaken for twins. He was not just my brother but my best friend, my confidant.
Challenges and Growth
Life took a turn when my parents divorced when I was 8. It was a challenging time, but Alex and I found solace in spending every other weekend with our mother.
Discovering Art
My mom played the guitar, and she would take Alex and me to an art and music space on Sundays. While Alex and my mom took guitar lessons, I discovered my love for painting.
Nurturing a Passion
Painting quickly became my passion, a joyful escape that allowed me to express myself and find happiness. I started painting all the time, finding inspiration everywhere I went.
Early Achievements
My confidence in my artistic abilities grew as I received recognition early on. I won first place in several elementary school art contests, which culminated in a major milestone at the age of 10. I entered a state competition for urban design and won first place for designing an electric train for my city.
One of My First Paintings
One of my first paintings was inspired by a fragment of “La Pala del Spedalingo” by Rosso Fiorentino. To me, it represented the eternal balance of good and evil in life.When I started painting, I aspired to be like Leonardo da Vinci, whose work continues to inspire me to this day.
Unstoppable Creativity.
My creativity never stopped. I translated my thoughts, feelings, and observations into paintings. As I got older I began working to pay for my education.which meant painting less frequently. However, I never lost sight of my artistic goals. I always knew that painting was my life.
No matter how much time I spent in my studio, or how many paintings I created, my passion for painting never waned. It has always been the driving force of my life.
A Journey of Dedication
I embarked on my educational journey at the University of Guadalajara, studying art, architecture and design. I balancing work and university was challenging, but my commitment to my goals never wavered.

I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning and Environment, specializing in planning. I continued at the University of Guadalajara and earned two master’s degrees, one in Technology Apprenticeship and another in teaching Research Methodology.
Two days after graduating, the university offered me a teaching position! I began teaching technical drawing and painting!
This was the beginning of my 17 year teaching career at the University Guadalajara (2006-2022).
In addition to teaching art classes, my colleagues and I established the first College of Urban Planners in Jalisco, Mexico. I was the Vice President and a founding member.
During this time I worked on various projects and cultural programs in different countries. We held workshops and represented culture through paintings, sculptures, and drawings.
NEVER STOP LEARNING
My time at the University of Guadalajara was very rewarding and it helped me grow creatively. I am very grateful to all of the people that I have worked with – you got me to where I am, and you help me continue to grow.

Blessed path to continue growing..
I am fortunate to be married to an exceptional man, my husband Dominic, who hails from an Italian-American family. Our love brought us together, and now we enjoy a beautiful life in the United States. Our Mexican and Italian cultures blend harmoniously, filling our lives with joy.

Encouraged by Dominic, I started my own business. His unwavering support has been invaluable, and I deeply appreciate everything he does for me.

My beautiful adventure…
My goal through Vannucchi Art Studio is to create paintings without limits, using the techniques I know and exploring new ones I will discover.
My art is fueled by my passion for living every moment fully and inspiring as many people as I can. Allow me to share this journey with you!
This is only the beginning!
I am an energetic and powerful person and I am very sensitive to what others are experiencing.
They inspire me to create in a fun way with a series of textures that make painting more exciting. That is why each piece I create is different, unique, and special.
Every piece starts as a blank canvas and becomes a magic work of art.
