VANNUCCHI ART STUDIO IN MUSA MUSEUM

A day of meeting with Orozco in the auditorium

This month of August was sensational, I can share that I have always liked art and

the passion for painting is always present in me.

After two years of not visiting my hometown we made that trip for my husband to

know a little of the city and a little fun on the beach.

At the University of Guadalajara where I work for a long timeThis month of August was sensational, I can share that I have

always liked art and the passion for painting is always present in me. After two years of not visiting my hometown we made that

trip for my husband to know a little of the city and a little fun on the beach.

In the University of Guadalajara where he worked for a long time he has a property of patrimonial value for the city, since in it

there are two fresco murals made in 1935 to 1937 by the artist.

These are located inside the Enrique Diaz de Leon auditorium. The creative and rebellious man – at the top.

In 1914 the engineer Alfredo Navarro Branca was entrusted with the project of two buildings that would be called Constitución

and Reforma (currently the Museum of Arts), and would be projected to dedicate them to primary education.

The formal and functional layout of these buildings responds to the canons established by the eclectic academic style, an

architectural current that had its greatest exponent in nineteenth-century France.

The eclectic of the second decade of the twentieth century in Guadalajara is a little different from that of the previous century,

which was a more orthodox eclectic, although ornamental elements related to the French eclectic are noticeable, as well as

details of art nouveau, with elements of this style in blacksmithing, stonework, leaded and decorative mortar.
